30/09/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 1 October, the European Parliament’s Conference of Committee Chairs (CCC) will make a proposal to divide up the responsibilities for monitoring the hearings of the twenty-six European Commissioners-designate, including the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas. This proposal and the timetable for the hearings will be approved by the Conference of Presidents (CoP) of the European Parliament’s political groups the following day. Between now and the hearings, the Committee on Legal Affairs will be examining the declarations of financial interests of the Commissioners-designate.
