European Commission authorises higher advance payments to EU farmers

On Friday 13 September, the European Commission announced that it had authorised EU Member States to pay agricultural producers higher advances of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funds, thus helping to address the liquidity problems currently facing many of them.

The regulations in question were published in Friday’s Official Journal of the EU (https://aeur.eu/f/dfi).
