EU reintroduces tariff quotas on Ukrainian eggs and sugar

Imports of Ukrainian sugar and eggs into the European Union have reached the limits beyond which they can no longer benefit from exemption from customs duties (see EUROPE B13438A31).

There are limits on the amount of poultry, eggs, sugar, oats, maize, porridge and honey that can be consumed. Oats, sugar and eggs have well exceeded the limits since the beginning of 2024. This is why tariffs will apply again to these products from 2 July.
