EU, Japan and United States called upon to put in place effective tools to combat illegal fishing

To mark the International Day against Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing, the EU IUU Fishing Coalition, theIUU Forum Japan and theUS IUU Fishing & Labor Rights Coalition on Wednesday 5 June called on the EU, Japan and the United States to join forces to step up the fight against ‘pirate’ fishing and labour abuses in the seafood sector.
