EU households in 2022 consumed lowest energy amounts since 2016 according to Eurostat

05/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – In 2022, EU households used 10.1 million terajoules of energy, the lowest amount recorded since 2016, according to Eurostat in their new publication that was published on Wednesday 5 June. This represents a decrease of 7.7% compared with the 11 million terajoules recorded in 2021.
