European Works Councils, Member States give green light to latest compromise from Belgian Presidency of EU Council

On Wednesday 5 June, the Member States gave a positive reception to the latest text from the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU on the revision of the European Works Councils Directive and cleared the way for an agreement at the Employment and Social Affairs Council on 20 June in Luxembourg, as reported by several sources (see EUROPE B13422A14).
