30/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 30 May, the European Commission released €3 million from the Internal Security Fund (ISF) for projects aimed at strengthening the prevention of and fight against corruption, it said in a press release. “The call for proposals will strengthen action against corruption and support the anti-corruption work of Member States, candidate countries and other stakeholders. It is open to public institutions, for-profit and not-for-profit organisations and international organisations“. In May 2023, the Commission adopted a package of anti-corruption measures, including a proposal for an anti-corruption directive and a communication on the fight against corruption. The proposed rules call for the criminalisation of all forms of corruption. Link to the call: https://aeur.eu/f/cfn (SP)
