12/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 March, the European Commission published a pathway for green and digital transition for the retail sector. Drawn up in collaboration with stakeholders, the document lists some thirty actions for the EU, the Member States and the private sector to make the retail sector more resilient, competitive and sustainable. This involves, for example, ensuring the smooth functioning of the internal market, removing unjustified restrictions on the operations of physical shops, supporting investment in digital infrastructures and solutions, and assessing the obstacles encountered by cross-border e-commerce. An online platform will be set up to collect feedback from stakeholders. See the document: https://aeur.eu/f/b9d (Original version in French by Léa Marchal)
