On Monday 11 March, six industry associations representing the gas distribution, transport, import terminal and storage sectors called on interested stakeholders to submit new or updated information on their hydrogen infrastructure projects for inclusion in the next update of the joint hydrogen infrastructure map.
Published in December 2022 by CEDEC, ENTSOG, Eurogas, GD4S, GEODE and GIE, in cooperation with the European Hydrogen Backbone initiative, this map shows several hydrogen infrastructure projects in 2030, 2040 and 2050, in response to a request from the European Commission.
The map currently includes around 450 distribution, transmission, terminals & ports, storage, demand and production projects, and is updated twice a year. The next update, scheduled for April 2024, should include 65 projects recognised by the European Commission as Projects of Common Interest (PCI) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMI).
Promoters are invited to submit or update their information online before 25 March.
