31/01/24 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission approved €19 million in humanitarian aid for vulnerable people in Myanmar for 2024 on Wednesday 31 January. This funding will enable the Commission's NGO partners on the ground to support internally displaced people and those affected by the ongoing fighting. The priorities will be provision of food, emergency shelter, access to healthcare, water and sanitation, mine risk education and education for children in emergencies. (AN)
