European Commission launches two calls for evidence to increase public and private investment in energy efficiency

The European Commission announced, on Tuesday 30 January, that it had launched two calls for evidence concerning investment to boost energy efficiency.

The first is on assessing the level of EU and national funding for energy efficiency and will feed into a report expected by the end of 2024 on a proposed EU mechanism for facilitating investment, leading to a possible legislative proposal.
