Two pesticide active substances will no longer be subject to review of maximum residue levels, announces EFSA

10/01/24 (Agence Europe)On Wednesday 10 January, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) declared that the review of maximum residue levels (MRLs) would no longer be required for two pesticide active substances: - Pythium oligandrum strain M1, which the European Commission and the Member States have concluded is not pathogenic to humans and that the risk to humans from metabolites is negligible, despite EFSA’s concerns.
