European Commission approves two new geographical indications from Italy and Spain

10/01/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 10 January, the European Commission approved the inclusion of ‘Terre Abruzzesi’ /’Terre d'Abruzzo’ wines from the Italian region of Abruzzo in the Community register of protected geographical indications (PGIs). This PGI designates categories of wines, sparkling wines and wines made from raisined grapes.
