Negotiations between European Parliament and EU Council on ‘Packaging and Packaging Waste’ regulation will begin on 5 February

10/01/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 5 February, the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the European Commission will begin inter-institutional negotiations (trilogues) on the proposal for a regulation on packaging and packaging waste aimed at reducing the growing mountain of waste by imposing reduction, recycling and reuse targets.
