48 countries and EU condemn North Korean arms transfers to Russia

On Tuesday 9 January, the EU High Representative and the foreign ministers of 48 countries, including 25 EU Member States (all except Hungary and Slovakia), condemned “in the strongest possible terms” the export by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the purchase by Russia of ballistic missiles from the DPRK, as well as Russia’s use of these missiles against Ukraine on 30 December 2023 and 2 January 2024.
