Pascal Canfin and Barbara Thaler want to make it compulsory to use primary data when accounting for greenhouse gas emissions

MEPs Pascal Canfin (Renew Europe, French) and Barbara Thaler (EPP, Austrian) are proposing to make it compulsory to use primary data when accounting for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from transport services. In their draft report on the ‘Count Emissions EU’ regulation, published on Monday 11 December, they explain that they want to encourage the use of this data.
