European Commission to launch first stages of presenting legislative initiative on right to disconnect

The Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, assured MEPs in Strasbourg on Tuesday 12 December that the Commission would follow up the commitments given by the President, Ursula von der Leyen, to legislate on the right to disconnect, as requested by the European Parliament in a resolution in 2021.
