EU to step up cooperation with Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway on health emergency response

14/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 14 December, the European Commission welcomed the desire of the EEA EFTA States - Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway - to strengthen cooperation with the EU on health emergency preparedness and response as part of a European Health Union, building on the existing close relationship between the parties. The Commission will now intensify discussions with the EEA EFTA States with a view to establishing a framework for closer cooperation in this area....
