Fate of regulation on coordinating social security systems depends on Spanish Presidency’s final informal attempts

The fate of the regulation (883/2004) on the coordination of social security systems has sparked rumours the past few days, even though the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Parliament have not yet thrown in the towel, despite the failure, at this point, of discussions within Member States (see EUROPE B13311A24).
