On Thursday 14 December, MEPs adopted by 366 votes to 154 with 15 abstentions the recommendations of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties’ group of enquiry into the governance of the Frontex agency.
Among other things, they are asking it to reduce operations in Member States where there are allegations of non-compliance with EU values, and express concern about the situation in Greece, Lithuania and Hungary.
