“gender blindness of ‘Green Deal’”, gender inequality remains a blind spot in European climate policies

The hearing on gender mainstreaming in EU climate policies, held on Thursday 7 December in the European Parliament’s Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, offered a multi-dimensional overview of how climate change and environmental policies affect men and women differently.
