Joint specialised committee formalises UK’s participation in Horizon Europe and Copernicus from 1 January

On Monday 4 December, the Specialised Committee on Participation in Union Programmes (SCPUP) adopted the memorandum of association that will allow researchers affiliated with a research institution located in the UK to participate fully in Horizon Europe grant programmes, with the exception of the ‘European Innovation Council Fund’ part of the EIC Accelerator (EIC Fund) and the Copernicus component of the European Space Programme, from 1 January 2024.
