MEPs adopt negotiating position on driving disqualifications

With 37 votes in favour and 5 against, members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) have adopted their negotiating position on the directive on driving disqualifications with EU-wide effects (see EUROPE B13281A17). With 35 votes in favour and 6 against, they agreed to begin discussions with the Member States, once the green light has been given at the plenary session in December.
