European Commission renews anti-dumping duties on Indian pipes and tubes

23/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has decided to renew anti-dumping duties on ductile iron (also known as spheroidal graphite cast iron) pipes and tubes from India, pursuant to an implementing regulation published in the Official Journal of the EU on Thursday 23 November. This renewal follows a partial review of the regulations, requested by an Indian company. In September 2022, Electrosteel Castings Ltd applied to the European Commission to have the dumping margin recalculated. After examining the available data, the Commission has decided to re-impose anti-dumping duties of 7%, as well as countervailing duties of 9%, on the products of Electrosteel Castings Ltd.
