On Wednesday 15 November, the European Commission sent an information request to Amazon asking it to report on the mitigating measures taken to protect online consumers, in accordance with the provisions of the Digital Services Act (DSA) (see EUROPE B13262A9).
The Commission’s questions relate in particular to the actions taken by the American company to combat the distribution of illegal products on its platform, and to the compliance - under the DSA - of its recommendation systems.
