EIC’s ‘Pathfinder Challenges’ call attracted 371 project proposals

15/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Innovation Council (EIC) unveiled, on Wednesday 15 November, the first statistics relating to its ‘Pathfinder Challenges’ call for proposals of its cut-off date of 25 October 2023. The EIC's ‘Pathfinder’ programme supports the exploration of ideas for innovative technologies, encouraging cutting-edge, high-risk, high-return interdisciplinary scientific collaborations. The ‘Pathfinder Challenges’ call specifically funds projects focusing on thematic priorities. The 25 October deadline attracted 371 project proposals. These 371 proposals involved a total of 2,077 participants from 41 countries. The total indicative budget for this call is €163.5 million.
