EU Council agrees to finalise UK’s participation in Horizon Europe and Copernicus

On Wednesday 15 November, at its meeting in General Affairs configuration, the Council of the European Union adopted a position that will enable the European Union to formalise the political agreement in principle on the United Kingdom’s participation, from 1 January 2024, in the European framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe, and in the European Earth observation programme, Copernicus.
