European Commission approves two new French geographical indications

31/10/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 31 October, the European Commission approved the addition of the French oyster ‘Huître de Normandie’ to the Community register of protected geographical indications (PGIs) and the French olive oil ‘Huile d’olive du Languedoc’ to that of protected designations of origin (PDOs). “‘Huître de Normandie’ is a fresh, whole cupped oyster.
