European Council formalises appointment of Piero Cipollone as member of ECB’s Executive Board

30/10/23 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 27 October, the Council of the European Union announced that the European Council, in accordance with Article 283(2) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU, had formalised by written procedure the appointment of Piero Cipollone as a member of the European Central Bank (ECB) Executive Board on 17 October.
