Composition of European Parliament, Spanish Presidency of EU Council maintains its proposal

On Wednesday 26 July, the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council will submit to the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) the same compromise proposal on the composition of the European Parliament for the 2024-2029 term as that unveiled on Friday 14 July (see EUROPE B13223A5).

This was announced to the Member States at the Coreper meeting on Wednesday 19 July.
