EU Council adopts its position on Construction Products Regulation

On Friday 30 June, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) approved the mandate for the Council of the EU to negotiate with the European Parliament on the draft Construction Products Regulation.

This text updates and harmonises the rules on durability for these products (see EUROPE B12922A3). 

As the MEPs on the Internal Market Committee have done (see EUROPE B13186A), the EU Council is proposing to remove printing materials from the scope of the regulation....
