Urban Transitions Mission launches a new call to support cities in their climate and energy planning

The second call for expressions of interest of the Urban Transition Mission (UTM) of ‘Mission Innovation’ (MI) – a global clean energy initiative of 23 countries and the European Commission – opened on Tuesday 23 May.

The call, which is open to cities worldwide, aims to expand the current UTM set of 48 cities, selected in the first call for expressions of interest and announced at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), to up to 300 cities. The 250 new pioneer cities selected under...
