European Commission proposes to extend suspension of tariffs on all Moldovan exports to EU

The autonomous measures suspending tariffs on imports from Moldova should be renewed in order to further support the country's economy, the European Commission says. On Tuesday 2 May, the Commission proposed a regulation to extend this European measure, which came into force in July 2022 (see EUROPE B12986A9, B12968A26)

In the same way as Ukraine, Moldova already benefits from extensive trade liberalisation with the EU, but some agricultural products were still being exported to the EU...
