EU concerned about Polish and Hungarian import bans on Ukrainian products

“We are already in contact with the authorities of the EU Member States that are announcing those measures and also the authorities of Ukraine to properly understand the scope of the measures and the legal basis because we don’t have full clarity on that”, said European Commission spokeswoman Miriam García Ferrer on Monday 17 April, referring to the import bans imposed by Poland and Hungary on Ukrainian agri-food products.
