EU condemns Pyongyang’s launch of a new long-range ballistic missile

The spokesperson of the European External Action Service (EEAS) condemned, on Saturday 15 April the launch of a new long-range ballistic missile by North Korea on 13 April. 

The European Union calls on the country to cease actions that violate UN Security Council resolutions and aggravate military tensions in the region.

It reiterates its demand that North Korea abandon “all nuclear weapons, other weapons of mass destruction, ballistic missile programmes and existing nuclear programmes...
