ACER publishes its benchmark for liquefied natural gas

04/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) published, on 31 March, its LNG benchmark, as previously announced (see EUROPE B13135A8) and required by EU Council Regulation (EU) 2022/2576. Published daily on the ACER website, this benchmark aims to provide more transparency in the market and is therefore supposed to reflect real-world LNG prices. The methodology and guidelines for reporting LNG market data will continue to be reviewed periodically...
