16/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 February, the European Commission unveiled the results of the 2022 call dedicated to Doctoral Networks under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme. A total of €429.4 million will be allocated to 149 doctoral programmes of excellence, selected from 946 applications received by the Research Executive Agency (REA). These grants will contribute to the training of more than 1 650 doctoral students in various fields of research. These programmes are implemented through international partnerships in 62 Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries. The first projects will start after the grant agreements with the REA are signed this summer at the earliest. Projects on the reserve list will be contacted once all grants have been signed.
