16/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Union and NATO on Thursday 16 March announced the launch of a Task Force for Resilient Critical Infrastructure (see EUROPE 13096/1). The aim is to share best practice, compare situational awareness and define principles for better resilience. Initially, the task force will focus on four sectors: energy, transport, digital infrastructure and space. The creation of the group comes at a time when the militarisation of energy and acts of sabotage against the Nord Stream pipelines have led to heightened attention to ensure the resilience of our critical infrastructure.
