20/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 19 December, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced the 2022 winners for each of the four categories of the EIT Community Hackathon awards, supporting innovative proposals from local students and entrepreneurs in the framework of the New European Bauhaus. URBAN TREE won the award for the category ‘Reconnecting with nature’, Molo61 won the ‘Regaining a sense of belonging’ prize, PuliTO won the award for ‘Circularity’, and Orlegi came out on top in the ‘Prioritising people and places that need it most’ category. The winners each received €10,000 in vouchers to be used in a Makerspace (a collaborative space for sharing resources and knowledge). This support should enable the selected project leaders to turn their innovative ideas into concrete goods or services. Link to the list of winners: https://aeur.eu/f/4qs (EV)
