Green light for €1.8 billion in German support for high power charging systems for electric vehicles

The European Commission authorised, on Wednesday 14 December, €1.8 billion German scheme to support the roll out of high power charging (‘HPC’) infrastructure for electric vehicles.

The scheme aims at establishing a network of HPC infrastructure for electric vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in Germany, the so-called ‘Deutschlandnetz’.
