First draft of international agreement on pandemics has EU support, confirms Czech Presidency of EU Council

The Health Ministers of the EU Member States, meeting on Friday 9 December in Brussels in the ‘Health’ Council, were informed about the state of play of negotiations for an agreement or any other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, to be concluded in 2024, as well as the complementary amendments to the International Health Regulations (see EUROPE B13064A22, B13044A23).
