29/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 28 November, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) launched a consultation on changes to the regulatory technical standards for information that European benchmark administrators must provide in applications for authorisation and registration. In parallel, it published a final report on the revision of the regulatory technical standards on the form and content of applications for recognition by non-EU benchmark administrators. ESMA seeks stakeholders’ views on the proposed changes to authorisation and registration. The European regulator will consider the responses to its consultation before submitting the draft standards on authorisation and registration to the European Commission for adoption. Stakeholders are invited to respond by the end of January 2023. For the final report: https://aeur.eu/f/4c6 ; and for more information on the consultation: https://aeur.eu/f/4c7 (AD)
