€45.6 million of EU funding will support development of 20 innovative technology projects

The European Innovation Council (EIC) announced on 11 November the selection of 20 projects under its May 2022 ‘EIC Transition’ call for projects.

The call for projects should help finance and facilitate the process of bringing innovative technologies to market. These projects can be carried out by individual entities or small consortia of up to five partners from different countries.

The overall envelope available under Horizon Europe for this call amounts to €45.6 million. Each of the 20 projects will be eligible for €2.5 million in funding.

The funding supports the maturation and validation of new technologies as well as the business case and business model for the future commercialisation of innovations.
