28/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided on Wednesday 28 September to appoint Diana Acconcia as Director for International Affairs and Climate Finance; Elina Bardram as Director for Adaptation and Resilience, Communication and Civil Society Relations; and Alexandre Paquot as Director for Innovation for a Low Carbon, Resilient Economy for the Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA). Ms Acconcia, an Italian national, has spent most of her career within the Directorate-General for Trade (DG TRADE). Ms Bardram, a Finnish national, has worked for more than 12 years at DG CLIMA, where she is currently Head of the Bilateral Relations Unit and Acting Director for International Relations and Climate Finance. Frenchman Alexandre Paquot heads the Road Transport unit in DG CLIMA. (LC)
