21/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched, on Tuesday 21 June, a second call for participation under the Women TechEU initiative. The aim of Women TechEU is to support women-led high-tech start-ups in the most risky phase of their development. Women TechEU is funded under Horizon Europe and its European Innovation Ecosystems work programme. Women TechEU is supported by the European Innovation Council (EIC). The Commission has increased the budget to €10 million for this year. 130 companies will be eligible for a grant of €75,000. The selected companies will also be mentored by the EIC’s Women Leadership Programme. The call is open for applications until 4 October 17:00 UTC+2.
