09/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 8 June, the governments of Germany, the UK, France and the USA welcomed the adoption by the Governing Council of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of a resolution in response to Iran's failure to cooperate with the IAEA as required by its Non-Proliferation Treaty safeguards agreement “on serious and unanswered issues related to the implementation of safeguards”. They urged Tehran to respond to the international community’s call to comply with its legal obligations and to cooperate with the IAEA in order to clarify and fully resolve these issues without further delay. In retaliation, Iran disconnected IAEA cameras at nuclear sites. See the E3 and US statement: https://aeur.eu/f/20w (CG)
