European Task Force enforcing EU sanctions against oligarchs is stepping up its efforts on tax front

08/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and Member States’ tax authorities set up a sub-group on tax enforcement within the ‘Freeze and Seize’ working group (see EUROPE B12914A5) on Wednesday 8 May. Headed by EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders, the Task Force wants to intensify its efforts against sanctioned Russian and Belarusian individuals and companies and their associates.
