Brussels, 23/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – The World Trade Organization (WTO) barometer released on 23 May shows a slight decline in merchandise trade in March. This instrument indicates the likely trend for the last few months, before official figures become available. The war in Ukraine and lockdowns related to Covid-19 in China probably negatively affected the recovery that was expected in the spring by the WTO.
