23/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission published on Monday 23 May an implementing regulation imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports from China and Brazil of flat rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, plated or coated with chromium oxides or with chromium and chromium oxides, also designated as electrolytic chromium coated steel products. It opened an investigation in 2021 following a complaint from the European steel producers’ association, Eurofer. The analyses conducted by the European Commission led it to conclude that the Union’s industry had suffered injury from Chinese and Brazilian imports of these products. The EU is therefore imposing provisional tariffs ranging from 33.2% to 77.9% on these imports. See the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/1rm (Original version in French by Léa Marchal)
