13/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Friday 13 May that it has reached an agreement with the manufacturer of Covid-19 vaccines BioNTech/Pfizer to give greater flexibility to the deliveries planned for European Union countries in the second half of 2022. The agreement adapts the contractual delivery schedules that were originally decided: doses planned for June and throughout the summer will now be delivered in September, during the autumn and winter of 2022, when Member States will need additional stocks of vaccine for their national campaigns, as well as to meet international solidarity commitments.
